Arpit Agarwal of NEST is passionate young designer with an aim to promote the lesser-known but extremely rich culture of North-East India. Inspired by the history, flaura & fauna of the region, he creates unique notebooks and mugs.

Lets accompany him on this journey of creating these unique notebooks which are a visual testament of the culture of North-East India.

As the first step, Arpit starts with observing and researching his surroundings. He says, "I assimilate my thoughts into graphics. Sometimes the ideas come immediately and at times they can take weeks."

Next, the designs are handed over to be printed.

Paper is cut to size and then stitched.

Then glue is applied and spine is prepared.

The hardcover is cut to size and then the printed cover is put over it with glue.

Then the hardbound cover is put over already stitched paper.

And voila! The magic is ready to be experienced!
